Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This wine from A. Palacios is always a winner. I'm not sure I've ever scored one under 90 points. This wine has lots of fresh black cherry, plum skin, vanilla, fresh herbs, crushed rocks, cool spice and dried earth. Quite serious. Pair with roast pork and red wine glaze. 92 Points.
Jane Staples rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Elegant and balanced, this dark ruby red wine shows concentrated raspberry, plum, cherry and hint of vanilla on the aromatic nose. Smooth, velvety palate gives ripe cherry, plum, oak and slight vanilla with polished tannins and lingering finish. Enjoy with grilled lamb chuletas(chops) or your next rare steak. A wine to savour.

Natalie's Review

Álvaro Palacios Camins Del Priorat 2016, Priorat D.O.Q., Spain: This full-bodied Spanish red wine offers rich, deeply concentrated black fruit flavours. Dark spices on the finish with some anise. Great for hearty meat dishes. Winemaker Alvaro Palacios is one of Spain’s superstar vintners who also produces the cult wine L’Ermita. The grapes for this wine are mostly sourced from young vines in the same vineyards that create his second wine, Les Terrasses, which is made only from old vines. Try this with prime rib. The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
