Deborah Podurgiel WSET IV Candidate rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

I am lovin’ this Pretty Pinot Gris. Pale lemon in the glass, on the nose Hester Creek’s Pinot Gris (2017) is clean, with lemon and banana cream pie on the nose and, if you have ever had the opportunity to sniff at fresh, uncapped honey from a beehive, some of that as well. The Pinot Gris is dry, medium-weight and creamy on the mid-palate with ripe Bartlett pear, tropical notes of fresh pineapple, anise spice and a medium-plus, citrus-cream finish with a refreshing bite, not unpleasant, but with refreshing acidity. Very easy to enjoy on its own and a perfect match to creamy spaghetti alla Carbonara or a creamy seafood linguine with a white wine sauce. The Pinot Gris was fermented to dry in stainless steel tank and was aged briefly on its lees. 6,000 cases were produced.

Natalie's Review

Hester Creek Estate Winery Pinot Gris 2017, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia BC VQA, Canada: Rich and unctuous with a viscuous, mouth-coating texture on the palate. Medium-bodied with lovely aromas of lanolin, beeswax, Asian pear and peach. Great as an aperitif or companion to seafood. Drink: 2018-2020. 13.20% D 750 mL  $15.00 Score: 90/100. June 23, 2018 Top Rated White Wine.  Full Review

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
