Martin Geleynse rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This wine is composed of 92% Cabernet Sauvignon with 3% Cabernet Franc, 3% Merlot and 2% Petit Verdot. Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley opens with spicy cassis and blueberry tart notions plus underlying bay leaves, cedar, pencil lead and smoked meat notes. Full-bodied, rich, concentrated and packed with black berry and spice box flavor layers, it has a firm backbone of grainy tannins and instills plenty of freshness on the finish. Drink Date: 2017-2026. Score - 92. (Monica Larner, robertparker.com, Oct. 31, 2017)
Melanie Lloyd rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This yummy Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon has loads of juicy dark berry aromas as well as dried eucalyptus leaves, dried petals, bell pepper and hints of cinnamon. It has blueberry and blackberry flavours as well as floral notes and roasted espresso and cocoa beans. The tannins are structured, and the flavours linger on the palate.

Crossbarn Cabernet Sauvignon 2014, Napa Valley, California, United States: A generous full-bodied, savoury Californian Cabernet Sauvignon by master winemaker Paul Hobbs. Complex, rich, deep with a long finish. Aromas of fleshy ripe black plums and dark berries. Decant 1 hour and enjoy with a rare steak. Drink: 2018-2024. 118695 14.50% XD 750 mL  $84.95 Score: 93/100. There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
