Appearance: medium Garnet core
Nose: Ripe red cherry fruit
Palate: Ripe cherry fruit morphs to velvety tannin, WBA (Well balanced Acidity)
Overall; Great example of a Chianti that can compliment either a medium rare steak or a Bolognese sauce
Sharon Lécuyer rated this wine as

Chocolate and leather on the nose. Lots of pepper and woodsy cedar (too much) on the palette. Wasn't for me.
Tasted March 13, 2018.
Monique Sosa reviewed this wine as follows:
Here we have a moderately concentrated stewed cherry and spice-forward Chianti Classico. Acidity means excitement to my palate and my palate craves excitement! This Chianti is easy drinking and versatile when it comes to pairing with braises or stews but it's not exciting. The fruit notes are most prominent, it lacks balance and where are the earthy/savoury notes? Perhaps it's just my bottle. Nevertheless, don't stop exploring Chiantis. They range from quite pleasant to incredible and never disappointing. Tasted Mar 2018 by @sommsosa

Tart black cherry, leather, underbrush, savoury herb. Dusty medium tannins. Pairs well with dishes featuring traditional Italian tomato-based savoury sauce. Tasted 2014 vintage in March 2018, decanted 2h. 90 points
Colette Martin rated this wine as

Pale garnet color
Aroma of black cherries spice and leather
Dark fruit and cedar on the palate
Nice balance of tannin and acidity, bone dry
Medium long finish of dark sour berries and cedar
Simon Chen rated this wine as
88/100 with the following review:
Great bright red fruits on the initial palate that balance with the acid. It has a bit unpleasant wood finish at the end but should go away with decanting.
Emilie Ryan rated this wine as
89/100 with the following review:
A very good Chianti Classico with a great nose and vibrancy.…
Presentation: Clean, plain label, with a hint of sophistication
Appearance: Pale garnet
Nose: Medium nose, sweet perfume with ripe red fruit (e.g., strawberry, plums, raspberries), mocha, spice and a hint of minerality and earth
Taste: Dry, medium body, medium-high acidity, medium, bitter tannins, red berries (sour cherries, plums), graphite, and a touch of green
Finish: long sour red fruit and mineral/dirt finish
Overall impression: A wine with a really nice nose – we could keep smelling this wine for a long time – and a vibrant taste that is well balanced between fruit and other notes. This wine would pair very well with an array of pasta dishes.
Value: 4/5
