Yummy and great bang for your buck! This bubbly starts out with some zesty citrus and wildflower honey aromas followed by a clean crisp mouthfeel with long juicy yellow apple, lemon zest finish. Enjoy as an aperitif. It's a great party pleaser. Tasted Nov '18 by @sommsosa.

A zippy fresh Crémant, with lime zest, crisp pear and a hint of lees. Balanced. Tasted 2015 vintage in Nov 2017. 90 points. Great value. Crowd pleaser. #BespokeTastings
Dan Carkner reviewed this wine as follows:
Lemony-grassy-minerally nose with plenty of bread shop notes. Pithy citrus, white pepper, and yeasty bread dough on the palate. Fine pear and orchard flavours persist through the medium finish. The mousse is a little more aggressive than expected but quite enjoyable as a complete package.
Great as an aperitif, with oysters, or scallop ceviche.

88/100 with the following review:
From the original region of sparkling wine, predating champagne, this sparkling wine from Limoux is pale straw yellow, fine bubbles, yeasty nose, with Meyer lemon and Macintosh apples. Significant yeasty finish with moderate acidity. This wine offers an affordable everyday sparking wine for this with a penchant for champagne.

A good sparkling for Sunday brunch…
Presentation: A basic label that lacks Bertrand’s typical, yet striking red and black Templar look, unfortunately
Appearance: Medium lemon
Nose: Medium nose, with notes of yeast, biscuit, lemon
Taste: Dry, medium-full body, high acidity, low tannins, with nice mouth feel, tiny, sharp bubbles with notes of sour lemon, brioche and minerals
Finish: Medium lemon rind
Overall impression: Should be a good sparkling for a Mimosa at a Sunday brunch.
Value: 5/5

Nose: Green apple skins, flint, toasty, earthy mushroom
Palate: Granny Smith apple flesh & skins, zesty lemon, mushrooms, moussey creamy bubbles, medium bodied, long finish
Pair with first holiday toasts served with creamy soft cheeses, any creamy mushroom dishes that need a palate cleanser.
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as
89/100 with the following review:
Citrus, green apple and freshly baked bread. Fine delicate thin bubbles. Crisp and zingy flavours with green apple skins, soft mousse, white grapefruit, light citrus and underripe pear. Also a light stoney mineral note as well. Light elegant body and refined finish. Dry, refreshing and light. Pair with light to medium cheeses, potato chips and charcuterie. 89 points - November 19, 2017
