Greg Hughes rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Classy Grüner teeming with energetic freshness. Crisp acidity amd crunchy green fruit are what you should expect from this grape. It is affectionately sometimes called Grü-vee.
Pale lemon-yellow. Moderate alcohol. Dissolved CO2, when first opened indicated delicate, low temperature handling from the winemaker to maximize aromatic preservation..
Aromas of green pear, limeade, and rhubarb.
Tastes juicy and satisfying. Some lemon, lime, melon, and quince.
This is a wonderfully complex, aromatic, dry white to pair with light seafood or chicken dishes.could age a couple of years.
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This Friendly Gruner certainly lives up to its name! Pale straw colour, aromas are fruit forward with a creamy note. Ripe golden apples, honeysuckles, Bartlett pear, melon, a hint of toasty minerals and pecans. Flavours are vibrant, with buttery poached pears, honeydew, and lime zest. A light zippy element of radish spice also notes. Medium plus acidity with a zing at the end. Light bodied with a medium minus finish. Pair with soft cheeses, grilled herbed haddock and veal. 90 points - December 2017

Laurenz V. Friendly Grüner Veltliner 2015, Kamptal D.A.C., Austria: Lime green intensity. Loads of acidity. Refreshing x 10. Finishes with a lime lift into the blue sky yonder. Try with shellfish. The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
