Greg Hughes rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Soft, complex, rich, tasty. This wine comes from a grand cru area located between the villages of Hattstatt and Voegtlinshoffen. Only the four noble varietals of Alsace are planted here: Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Muscat, and the Pinot family.
This wine is a beautiful pearly white, with lustrous yellow hues and it is rich and glasscoating.
It is highly floral, with lots of rosewater, peony, and ginger. Melon, pear, baked apple, and lychee too.
Flavourwise, it is a soft, full bodied style. Plenty of tropical character: coconut, lychee, banana, melon, honey, and ginger.
It is a great value for a wine of this pedigree and is a textbook example of premium Gewurztraminer.
A great pairing would be a traditional Alsatian flammekueche topped off with Munster cheese.
Fun fact: the area gets its name from the castle 'Ottosbourg' built in the high middle ages by the lords of Hattstatt.

Joseph Cattin Hatschbourg Gewurztraminer 2015, Alsace A.C., France: The 2015 vintage of this Hatschbourg Grand Cru seduces with lychee, rose petal and baking spices on the nose. Very distinctive and aromatic. Full-bodied with lots of layers. Luscious with a finish that leaves you longing for more. Highly recommended. Pair with mandarin and spice inflected dishes.
