Craig Haynes rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Charming aromas of black cherry, cedar and spice all emerged from this 100% cabernet sauvignon. Featured a dry, light to mid weight frame and velvety tannins. Harmonious dark fruit and spice notes showed up on the palate and held fast to the finish, too. Crafted in Ontario’s Niagara Peninsula appellation. Enjoy.

Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Aromas of dark cherry and plum, along with soft, warm earth, violets, and a hint of leather. Soft tannins on the palate with ripe berry notes and a hint of tart cranberry, along with some earthy and leather hints on the palate. Enjoy with a roast or oter braised meats.
Melanie Lloyd rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This elegant Cabernet Sauvignon has lots of sous-bois with aromas of wild cherries, earthy beets, plums, floral notes, and a touch of damp wood, truffle, and leather.

Flavour-wise, we are more on the red fruit spectrum with sour cherries and raspberries. It is nice and tart with tannins that are well integrated and it has a pleasant long finish.

Would pair nicely with venison.

Tasted November 2017.
