Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This is a big wine, with black cherry, blueberry, cassis, fig paste, roasted nuts, crushed rock and dried purple flowers. Old World for sure, but you could mistake it for a wine from the Pyrenees. 92 Points.
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A blend of 85% Tempranillo and 15% Merlot for added softness from Ribera del Duero. Deeply red coloured with brick reflections. It has quite a colourful, refined bouquet showing cassis, dark cherry, dates, figs, chutney essence and a whisper of eucalyptus. Flavours are refined, but a little young. Red cherry, raspberry, almond, blackcurrant leaves and stoney minerals. Medium plus acidity body, tannins and finish make this quite a balanced delight! Pair with grilled sausages and pork chops and rich cheeses. 91 points
Andrew Stevenson rated this wine as 91/100
Melanie Lloyd rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

An earthy wine with aromas of sweet spice, honey, blueberries, vanilla, and a touch of cocoa and cedar. The tannins are well incorporated and balanced by fresh acidity. It has good length on the palate. Would pair nicely with grilled or roasted lamb.
Tasted October 2017
Jon Steeves rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Beautiful old world charm, earthy, robust, rich, concentrated, complex aromatics and palate. Big cola, deeply concentrated cherry, aged leather, savoury herb, blackberry. Great value. Paired well with rack of lamb, and bison burger sliders. Tasted 2012 vintage in Oct 2017. 92 points. Enjoy 2017-2025. @BespokeTastings

Natalie's Review

Rolland Galarreta Tempranillo Merlot 2012, Ribera Del Duero D.O., Spain: A supple, juicy, smooth, full-bodied Spanish red wine blend of mostly Tempranillo with some Merlot grapes. This is a joint venture between the famous French flying winemaker Michel Rolland and Spanish wine entrepreneur Javier Galarreta. Aromas of fleshy ripe black plums, and toasty oak. Pair with grilled meats. Drink: 2017-2022. 434423 14% XD 750 mL  $25.95 Score: 91/100. October 6, 2018 Top Rated Red Wine. Luscious Lamb Wine  Full Review
