An absolutely great value. A dry Pinot Grigio with a crisp finish. Needed to drink it after opening to use in a marinade for a piece of grilled halibut.

A touch of sulphur dioxide on the nose, but this should blow off shortly after opening. Light and bright with a nutty note late.

A nicely fruited wine with white stone fruit, citrus and a hint of green pineapple. Good for sipping. 88 points. (www.ottawawinejournal.com)

Aromas of apple, citrus. Palette is crisp and sour with green apple and lime and was more sour than I was expected for a Pinot Grigio but it was nice and light which could be enjoyed with seafood dish. Great value at $12!

This pale straw wine has interesting aromas of apple, white flowers, and candied fruit. It has a medium-full mouthfeel and medium acidity. Its finish is long in citrus and tropical notes. Score 88. (S.Segard, reviewed Sept 15, 2017)

For $12, this will probably be my go-to party white wine. The winemaker, Sergio said they made the wine to be more toward pinot gris style. The nose is very floral and tropical fruits but on the palate, it's dry, crisp but with a balance of fruits. It can be paired with seafood, sashimi, ceviche, and all kinds of salad.
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as

Made in a "Pinot Gris" style for this Pinot Grigio is very dry, crisp and floral. Pale lemon colour with brilliant bright aromas of ripe golden delicious apple, cantaloupe, pineapple, honeysuckle, daffodils and a touch of clay minerals. Based on this bouquet it was expected to reflect some sweetness but this is very dry and crisp echoing some of the melon and aromatic apple notes. Medium body and acidity with some sweet orange clementine persisting into the fragrant finish. Excellent value for under $15!

This fresh Pinot Grigio is something unique coming out of Argentina. The high altitude overlooking the Mendoza River is where these grapes are grown and gives them a light floral quality. The natural acidity complements the pineapple candy and fresh apple flavours on the palate. This wine is more of a Pinot Gris style with crisp minerality. Very refreshing and excellent value.

Trapiche Reserve Pinot Grigio 2016, Mendoza, Argentina: Fresh and crisp Argentina white wine made from the Pinot Grigio grape, though leaning more to the drier style of Pinot Gris than the fruitier style of Pinot Grigio. Lovely floral notes along with Asian pear and quince. The grapes are grown in a high altitude area of the Mendoza River. Pair with fresh seafood and sushi.
