Cherie Cole rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A lovely, crisp and fresh Pinot Gris from Closson Chase Vineyards. Orange blossom, ripe peach, honeydew melon with flinty, mineral notes. I paired this wine with the smooth, creamy Lappi Finlandia cheese.
Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A Pinot Gris that is showing great results this vintage - delicate with a pretty floral and citrus nose - peach, Bosc pear, melon, lemon, lime and grapefruit rind. There is a pleasant acidity, however, delicately balanced with persistent flavors of grapefruit, floral and lime. Perfect with soft cheeses and fresh fruit.
Greg Hughes rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A pleasant and drinkable Gris in the style of Northern Italy, according to the folks who crafted it. It is not quite your big, oily Alsatian styled ones. it is more delicate and fragrant. lots of white fruit; nectarine, peach, pitayha. vanilla and melon on the nose . there is some nice refreshing acidity.
Pleasant and simple luxury from a grower who really knows how to produce quality Pinot. this one was sourced from Four Mile Creek; Closson's connection in Niagara. Prince Edward Winemakers are experts in low yield quality driven viticulture.
This one might have seen extended cool maceration and maybe some neutral oak - more zesty and complex than prior vintages.
Vintage by vintage it has gotten better and better. This is the most interesting vintage to date. Pair it with stuffed salmon rolls or simple sushi.

Natalie's Review

Closson Chase K.J. Watson Vineyard Pinot Gris 2016, Four Mile Creek, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario V.Q.A., Canada: This Ontario white wine made from Pinot Gris grapes hails from the up-and-coming region of Prince Edward County, which is more northern than Niagara in the province. Zesty, light and lovely Prince Edward County Pinot Gris. Aromas of light white florals. Serve as a chilled aperitif or companion to very light fish dishes.
