A true Gris. Full flavour, rich texture and rich ripe flavours dominated by pear elements. A great alternative for Chardonnay lovers who want something somewhat different.
Monique Sosa rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Vibrant, aromatic and scrumptious! Ripe peach, apricot, honeydew melon, and mandarin orange aromas upfront and juicy apple, stone fruit flavours linger on the palate with a mild freshly grated ginger finish. Enjoy this mouthwatering and creamy medium-bodied pinot gris with steamed mussels on a green coconut curry broth. Tasted Nov 2017 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Kristin Perrin rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Nose: Lucious peach, pear, honey, apricot, orange blossom
Palate: more peach, honeydew melon, orange rind, lemon, mineral notes, round acidity, medium bodied.
Perfect for slow cooker apricot chicken!
Dan Carkner reviewed this wine as follows:

The nose is elegant with ripe peach, white flower, subtle banana/ tropical, cut grass, and lemongrass. The tropical fruit shines on the palate with grilled melon, pineapple, and banana. Zesty citrus provides backbone while a distinct peppery note spikes the finish. The body is quite silky and medium in weight. A well balanced wine that has character you could spend some time with.
Pair with a light fricassee rich with fresh herbs or even a traditional bouillabaisse.
Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Lovely creamed pear notes along with stone fruit and acacia honey. 90 points. (www.ottawawinejournal.com)
Matt Steeves rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Always a crowd favourite, Poplar Grove’s Pinot Gris is a favourite year after year for its refreshing and creamy style that complements patio sessions perfectly! Chalked full of refreshing orchard fruit, honey suckle, and floral characteristics, the palate is creamy with layers of tropical fruits and refreshing stone fruit leading the long finish. Enjoy in the summer sun with friends on a patio, and pair with charcuterie, or grilled fish. The Okanagan Valley produces great Pinot Gris and Poplar Grove's continues to be one of the best efforts. Tasted May 2017. 89+ points. Matt Steeves – www.quercusvino.ca
