Traditionally made sparkling from Washington's dynamo producer: Chateau Ste. Michelle. This one is non-vintage, and a blend of Pinot Noir and Meunier.
Bright pink, with some orangey hues to it.
Aromatics of cara cara orange, lemon, strawberry, and rhubarb. It is fresh, with a touch of autolytic character.
The flavours, like the aromatics, are on the fruitier side of things. More orange, strawberry, and rhubarb character, with a zesty finish. Tasty and easy-going.
Fun fact about Pinot Meunier: it looks extremely similar to Pinot Noir on the vine, except for tiny white hairs which show prominently on the grapevine's foliage.
Pair this with smoked salmon or shrimp cocktails.

This is the ultimate Summer backyard sparkler. Gorgeous red berry, unripe stonefruit, apple and citrus notes wrap themselves around a lively acidity. Perfect for almost any dish you throw at it, and the price is right. 90 Points. (www.ottawawinejournal.com)

This wine Popped with fresh seafood and fish! Aromas of field strawberries and a hint of antique roses. I loved the lively bubbles and the effervescent characteristics when it hit my palate. Flavors of red berries and grapefruit – it was bright, refreshing but not tart and didn’t remind me of brioche or bread. This sparkler is on the fresh and lively side. I would love this one with some strawberries or on a warm night on the porch. But hey this stuff brought me happiness and I’m sure you will agree! Tasted at Chateau Ste. Michelle’s 50th anniversary dinner in Ottawa in June 2017

A fresh, lively Rosé with cherry, strawberry and apple notes, made using the Champenoise method. A great brunch wine.

This sparkling rosé is nicely dry and a beautiful pale colour. Lots of strawberry, citrus and a hint of mandarin on the nose. Lively acidity, complemented with fine persistent bubbles. A lovely choice for a summer sipper, or pair with smoked salmon on bagels for brunch. (June 2017)

Often people think of sparkling Rosé as overly sweet. This sparkling wine produced in the traditional method may start with strawberry notes, but it quickly gives way to citrus notes as well as hints of stone fruit, The finish is dry and crisp with a lingering citrus finish. This wine would be great to start the evening off or to pair with food. Overall, it's an excellent summer wine.

I've always had an infinity for this beautiful blush sparkling. Perhaps because my oldest daughter is a Michelle and it makes me think of her; young, fresh and full of life. Or maybe because I'm a fan of the Pinot grape and this is a blend of two; Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.
It might have something to do with the fact I adore Champagne and this is made in the traditional method. All that being said this is a wine to love for its own merit. Beautiful citrus and strawberry aromas. That first sip gives a hint of sweetness, likely from the sweet dosage added at the end of the secondary bottle fermentation, however the sweetness is offset with enough acidity to balance the two. Flavours of fresh berries and apple with a medium-long finish.
This is a great sparkling to start any evening - be it on your patio winding down after a long week, or a weekend get together with friends/guests before dinner. I have told "my" Michelle she should buy a case or two and keep it as her house sparkling!

The Brut Rosé by Chateau Ste. Michelle is made in the traditional methode champenoise. Strawberry aromas are reflected in the flavour with a fine mousse effervescence, finishing with apricots and raspberry. With its balanced acidity, you can enjoy this sparkling wine anytime, but especially with Sunday brunch.
