Beautifully rich unfiltered Cabernet Franc from Oliver, British Columbia. Meaty with so many layers. Take your time on this one. Spicy nose, dark plum and meaty aromas. On the palate, dry and rich with dark cherries, rich raspberry, sweet tobacco leaf and smoked bacon flavours on the palate. This is a rich, full-bodied Cabernet Franc and a good example of what Cabernet Franc can give with the help of a winemaker who understands it. Take it one step further, try it with a grilled ribeye topped with blue cheese. It was excellent! Drink now, but can easily hold for another three to five years. Tasted March 2019

Deep and dark with an abundant bouquet. Unfiltered, Intersection’s Cabernet Franc is “clarified by time and gravity” by this alone it offers enveloping aromas of Cassis, Dark plums, tobacco, mocha, new patent leather and voluminous blackcurrants with an earthy green pepper blast at the end!
Flavours include - sour cherries, tomato, pomegranate, strawberry, red bell peppers and wood driven smoke. Acidity is high but well balanced with pronounced tannins and lengthy heat driven finish. Succinctly spicy!This is a fine match for ribs, peppered pork chops and stronger cheeses. Strong enough to stand up to something blue! Think Gorgonzola or St. Agur. Yum!
Can drink now but suitable for cellaring 5+ yrs. 90 points - Tasted July 2018
