Monique Sosa rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Absolutely glorious! This iconic Chardonnay pours with a brilliant pale gold hue showcasing prominent developing notes of crisp ripe golden apple, Asian pear, apricots and citrus peel. The mouthfeel is fat and buttery with enticingly high acidity and a long lemongrass finish. Pair this full-bodied Sonoma Chardonnay with cedar planked, maple glazed salmon. Jane Staples rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Tropical guava, coconut, vanilla and buttered toast aromas. Rich, creamy, buttery palate gives bright tropical fruit, lemon and coconut in a satiny creamy mouthfeel and luscious finish. Linger with this one a while, then order grilled scallops. Great gift wine for Chard lover.

Wineboy rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

I always pay attention to Kistler Chardonnays because they can hit such lofty heights of pleasure when given some bottle ageing. This 2015 seems to be no exception but it is still early on in it's evolution. It's power is not yet maxed out, with some of the tertiary aromas and flavours still to develop. Buy this now but be prepared to be patient. 2-4 years would be best. I'll upgrade my score then.

Natalie's Review

Kistler Les Noisetiers Chardonnay 2015, Sonoma Coast, California, United States: This voluptuous Californian Chardonnay sets the benchmark for all others. Gorgeous liquid opulence! Balanced, beautiful and robust. Butterscotch and green apple with hints of white peach on the nose. Creamy, plush, layered and luxurious. Pair this classic Californian Chardonnay with more of itself or Cornish hen. Drink: 2016-2022. 251223 14.10% XD 750 mL  $139.95 Score: 92/100. May 27, 2017 Top Rated White Wine.
