Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Just gorgeous!! Silky smooth, and loads of flavour. On the nose there is a lot of fresh red berry (cherry and raspberry) with subtle earthy notes and almost stony minerality. Hints of leather in there too. Bright acidity, smooth tannin, and fresh fruit on the palate. There is more earthy and spicy notes on the lengthy finish. This wine has a lot of life in it still but is drinking beautifully now. Enjoy with grilled salmon, pork tenderloin or mushroom dishes.
Monique Sosa rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

What a gem! Pronounced dark cherry, dried cranberry, allspice, mildly savoury notes and mineral-rich aromas speak highly of the complexity in this Pinot. Meanwhile, long smooth enticing cherry, spice, tobacco, and cedar flavours bring out a luxurious elegance in this Niagara Peninsula Pinot Noir. This heavenly pairs well with braised meats. Enjoy with Harissa-braised lamb or venison. Tasted April 2017 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Jon Steeves rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

Beautiful and bright garnet with a ruby hue. An exceptional cool climate Pinot Noir with a well
defined core and a complex aromatic profile. Elegant with fantastic acidity. Well structured backbone of elegant tannins with moderate alcohol and dense fruit concentration. Organic Ontario viticulture. Dark cherry, raspberry, baking spice and a layer of chalky minerality on the palate. Medium - long finish. Tasted the 2013 vintage of "la Grande Reserve" Pinot Noir in April 2017. Pairs well with roasted chicken or turkey, pork tenderloin. An amazing Ontario Pinot and a pleasure to experience. 94 points.
