Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted Sept. 9, 2017 Colour medium ruby red. Medium legs. Aromas and flavours, red plum, black cherry, black current, red bell pepper, cedar. Taste dry, complex, grippy tannins lots of flavour with out the high alcohol. Long fruit finish. This is a serious wine at a great price, lots of bang for the buck, pair with beef, we had some nice burgers with all the toppings.
Mary Anne van Gaal rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

Wow what a great wine for the price! This blend of 60% Malbec, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Petit Verdot is aged in oak for 6 months. Aromas of ripe blackberries and cinnamon are followed by flavours of plum, dark berries and spice. A very smooth, long finish. This wine would be terrific with any red meat or tomato based Italian dish. Tasted August 2017.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
