Greg Hughes rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This New Zealand Pinot comes from Central Otago, in the south. Pinots from places like Marlborough tend to have more red fruit and are quote bright, while in the south you get a lot more dark fruit. This comes from a single parcel belonging to Kim Crawford, the wine pioneer from Marlborough.
Nice, deep colour. Medium garnet. Deep at the core and watery at the rim.
Aromatically, there's some black plum, cherry, anise, roses, earth, cocoa dust, and cranberry.
The flavours are more fruit forward and spice in the back. There's some really tasty acidity that keeps the fruit really fresh and tasty. More cranberry, plum, amd blackberry. Some subtle anise and clove on the finish. Pleasant and bright. Not overly oaky.
Decent wine for the price especially. A single vineyard offering at this price is rare.
Put this with borscht and sesame crackers.
Monique Sosa rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Pronounced juicy ripe mixed berries and floral aromas with a silky smooth mouthfeel, ripe concentrated berry flavours and a long allspice finish. Acidity is moderate and balanced with mild tannins. A value-priced rich and flavourful Central Otago New Zealand Pinot Noir considering other similar styles are about double this price point. Enjoy with garlic and herb seared rib-eye. Tasted Mar 2017
Jon Steeves rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A tart and dry cool cimate Central Otago NZ Pinot Noir which jumps out of the glass with ripe blueberry and cranberry and meets your palate with blackberry, pomegranate and a subtle layer of savoury. Complex, balanced and ready to enjoy. Pair with Italian antipasti, roasted rack of lamb or balsamic drizzled salmon lollipops. Great value! Tasted March 2017. 90 points
