Christian Marcoux rated this wine as
91/100 with the following review:
A succulent Spaniard wine, created by Hazana Vinas Viejas, in the Rioja region of Spain. The Vendimia 2014 shows aromas of fig, dried blackberry, black pepper, dried rose, wet gravel, parmesan cheese, cigar box and cedar. Crafted from 85% Tempranillo and 15% Graciano grapes, this medium-bodied wine offers warm and luscious finish. The Graciano grape brings a well refined structure with fine tannins. Palate: fig, dried blueberry, dried leaf, black pepper, dusty smoke, cigar box, dill and cedar. Enjoy!

This fruit forward Rioja vinified with half a century old wines is a true treasure. If value is what you are after, no need to look any further. Juicy blend of 85% Tempranillo and 15% Graciano, it’s bursting with aromas and flavours of ripe black cherries and blackberries. Medium in body, well integrated velvety tannins and balanced acidity. Plush, smooth and refined, closes in a lingering vanilla-tinged finish. Perfect pairing with tapas, grilled-meats, and smoky dishes. Tasted April 2017. Tania Thomas – www.runawaygrape.com

88/100 with the following review:
Ruby red. Red and black berry fruit, leather, dried fig and a hint of baking spice. Old world wine with a touch of new world fruit forwardness. Enjoyable on its own. Pair with cassoulet. Tasted March 2017. 88 points.
Monique Sosa rated this wine as
87/100 with the following review:
This Rioja pours with a delicate floral aroma and faint red fruit flavours (red plum and pomegranate) with lasting dried fig finish. Dominant notes include cedar, dark chocolate and figs. The Palate is medium-bodied with firm tannins and moderate acidity. Flavours, body, tannins, acidity and finish lack balance. It would be interesting to see how this wine ages though. Enjoy with roasted game meats. Tasted March 2017 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca

Medium-dark ruby. Plums, cherries, and spices aromas. Extra dry, medium body, short fruit, long acidity. Not much complexity here. Score 85. (S.Segard, reviewed March 26, 2017).
