Heather Wall rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Flash back to the days of the California raisins! Rip open a box and inhale all the sweetness and sunshine. Perfect first whiff of this full-bodied red wine accompanied with some florals, cassis, vanilla and toasted oak. Tannins are softening with cleansing acidity that balances this fruit-driven wine. Solid price performer for this much complexity.
Tasted: February 2017
Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Full bodied, rich and complex. This wine has an abundance of dark fruit and lovely oak aging spice on the nose, flavors of cassis, dried blueberries, cranberries and anise. Well integrated tannins.
Monique Sosa rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Rich, complex, inviting, and a chic look! Jammy plum, cassis, baking spice, vanilla, leather, and cocoa dominate the flavours. 'Claret' is the traditional British term for Bordeaux reds adopted by Coppola for this glorious wine. Enjoy this balanced, well-structured, full-bodied California red blend with braised lamb shanks. Gives ripe strawberries, blueberries, mint and vanilla on nose and palate. Full-bodied, dry, slightly tannic.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
