Monique Sosa rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Meaty, fruity and spicy! Yummy juicy black plum, cassis, anise, vanilla extract, and sweet tobacco notes. It's full-bodied and mouth-watering with young developing tannins (moderately grippy) showing a long scrumptious finish. Enjoy with BBQ balsamic & soy sauce marinated beef kebabs. Jon Steeves rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Great value and an exceptional pairing option for BBQ season! Meat lovers will love to love this wine with dry rubbed ribs, gourmet beef burgers, AAA steaks. Well balanced and integrating 13.5% alcohol. Red berry, cassis, savoury herb and eucalyptus. Tasted the 2013 vintage in March 2017. 90 points. Exceptional value. This is a buy by the case option for patio and BBQ season. Enjoy!

The magic power of this Coonawarra cabernet sauvignon is quickly evident, in a Johnny and Mary techno-beat way with mojo in hand. Robert Palmer would like to call it "a chaos-buster, a post-Heisenberg-Uncertainty-Principle Mojo hand." What it really does is offer up terrific value on this VINTAGES release. Mojo is classic and I must stress the word, classic varietal Coonawarra and yet another example of how that tiny little outpost is one of the most important cabernet locales on the planet. Dusty, savoury, tangy, expertly tart, nearing to black fruit with an earthy edge and Terra Rossa coarsing not just through veins but vessels, arteries and major organs. This wine breathes from the inside out with freshness, depth, character and structure. Perhaps it's more akin to the song's great cover, like a slower paced and balanced Bryan Ferry & Todd Terje rendition. Talk about getting your mojo working. Rojo mojo. "Without a second thought. Running around." Drink 2016-2022. Tasted January 2017.

Natalie's Review

Mojo Rockbare Cabernet Sauvignon 2013, Coonawarra, South Australia, Australia: A juicy, exquisite Australian Cabernet at a phenomenal price. More aromatic than most Cabs I've tasted. Wowsers. Coonawarra is home to famous red wines: this is a bargain hunter's dream. Pair with grilled meats. Drink: 2017-2022. 383539 13.50% D 750 mL  $17.95 Score: 91/100. April 25, 2017 Best Value Red Wine.
