Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Cassis and vanilla chocolate aromas. flavours show - coconut, stewed cherry, strawberry and cherry pie filling. Full acidity, body and medium tannins. A delicious ending with stoney minerals and a rich, warm, velvety texture. Suitable for some serious red meat accompaniments! 91 points. - Tasted February 2018
Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted Nov. 7 2017. Colour deep ruby. Good thick minus legs. Aromas and flavours of, black cherry, currant, baking spices and cedar. Taste, dry, medium plus body, nice integrated tannin, mouthwatering , with heat. A favourite wine of my wife, she likes the intensive flavour of the fruit and the cedar on the tannin. Pair this with a strip loin grilled on the BBQ. Given the price it is more of a weekend special drinking wine then an everyday sipper.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Aromas of blackberry, blueberry, plum, and vanilla. The taste is full and round, with juicy fruits and chocolate. A perfect example of a California Cab Sauv.
Jon Steeves rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby red Cab Sauvignon. Graphite minerality, a long finish of ripe and rich dark plum, blackberry, cassis. Full-bodied with supple mouthfeel, integrating high tannins. Tasted March 2017. 92 points.
Lori Kilmartin WSET3 rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Delicious! If you are looking for a Cabernet to impress someone without breaking the bank - I highly recommend. Beringer as always comes through with a good value wine. Aromas of dark fruit, cigar, leather and chocolate. Mouth coating tannins that would pair nicely with a steak on the bbq, topped with a pat of blue cheese. Tasted March 26, 2017.
Olivier de Maisonneuve rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Classic cassis nose! A bit smokey. Rich and smooth tannins. Velvety and lenghty finish. Some alcohol noticeable but all in all a superb californian cab. You want it to linger in your glass but it's impossible to resist it. For your saturday dinner, with special friends.
Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Always a dynamic product. This wine features tar, kirsch, black plum, huckleberry, cola, cocoa and a hint of mint. Dense and luscious but not cloying. 93 points. (www.ottawawinejournal.com)
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Aromas of black fruit and cedar give way to black currant, vanilla, plum and some pencil lead on the palate. Medium tannins lead into a black fruit dominated finish. Pair with beef tenderloin.
Martin Geleynse rated this wine as 91/100
