Cora Beaulieu rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

This wine is a lively medium to dark ruby color. The nose has aromas, of both, red and black berries, likely blackcurrant, with very soft spice, some green cedar, and vanilla in the background. Mid-weight on the palate, but expect a dry, Cabernet with flavors of red cherries, raspberry, dark plum and a hint of vanilla. Tannins are noticeable. It has a decent mouth-feel and is a bit jammy with a little heat on the finish. Good everyday table wine for meat eaters. A few other reviewers suggest chilling a little. [Tasted Mar/2017]
Jon Steeves rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Ruby red and 13.8% ABV. This is an approachable Cali Cab Sauvignon, offering great value and lots of fruit. Ripe red berry dominant with vanilla. Medium tannins and balanced. Great with burgers or tacos. Tasted March 2017. 89 points.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Big fruit aromas, with blackberry, black cherry, brambles, hay, and cigar box. The taste is silky blackberry, and really tastes (and smells) like it contains some nicely done Cabernet Franc as well. Medium rounded tannins and a juicy cherry finish.
Lori Kilmartin WSET3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A juicy fruit forward Cabernet. Aromas of jammy blackberry and cassis. Smooth tannins with a medium fruit finish. Tasted January 8/2017
Ken rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Medium body. Smooth and easy on the palate. An agreeable tipple.
Sharon Lécuyer rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Beautiful jammy and smoke with hints of toasted vanilla on the nose. Full-bodied but smooth on the palette. I get vanilla, cloves and berries with medium to high tannins. Pair with duck confit, bitter greens or a spiced-based dessert like a tart berry-based pie/crisp with anise-infused ice cream.

(Tasted November 28, 2016).
Bill Wright Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A great value cab. Full bodied spicy red fruit and oak. Will pair with a very wide range of foods. Short fruity finish
Emilie Ryan rated this wine as 80/100 with the following review:

Presentation: A different, saucy, old-west label, with a monochrome palate and a touch of red. We like it.
Appearance: Medium ruby colour
Nose: Pronounced sweet fruit (grapes, black plums), floral (roses), mocha
Taste: Off-dry to medium sweetness, cooked berries and floral notes (roses) with a touch of leather and sweet spices (cinnamon)
Finish: Short, sweet finish
Overall impression: An acceptable Cabernet Sauvignon. If you like sweeter wines, you should like this one.
Value: 3/5
