Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Pale - almost colourless with green reflections. Refreshing gooseberries, white grapefruit citrus, pineapple and that classic grassy herbal NZ sauve punch with some tropical fruit notes. Flavours echo the bouquet. High acidity, well balanced with touches of asparagus and nectarine persisting. Crisp and zingy. Perfect pairing for herbed goats cheese, tabbouleh, dolmathes on on its own as a stand-alone. 91 points - Tasted January 2017

Monique Sosa rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Unbelievably aromatic and flavourful. And what a bargain! Get ready for an explosion of guava, passionfruit, citrus and zesty fresh herbaceous notes. A medium-bodied zingy crisp high acid juicy Sauvignon Blanc perfect for pairing with a crispy-fried cod taco salad. Tasted Sept 2017 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Jane Staples rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Here's a Sauv Blanc that I never tire of, with its appetizing aromas of passionfruit, citrus and freshly-cut grass The palate bursts with flavours of more tropical guava, passionfruit, canned white asparagus and citrus, with a mouth-watering acidity and lingering finish. This is a perfect salad wine, especially if you're adding shrimp to the salad or a side of grilled calamari. Works beautifully with Chicken Alfredo, too, with the citrus balancing the rich sauce.

Matt Steeves rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Kim Crawford continues to be one of the most appreciated Sauvignon Blanc expressions around the world. The 2016 vintage shows the characteristics of Marlborough that the world has grown so fond of. Expressive passion fruit, guava, and grapefruit interlaced with sweet herbal tones. Mouthwatering citrus and lemongrass on the long crisp fruit finish. Year after year, Kim Crawford manages to produce quality wines at a great price making them a top selling brand around the world. Enjoy with seafood, lightly spiced Asian cuisine, salads, and fish tacos. 90 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Jon Steeves rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This is a highly aromatic and wonderfully executed NZ Sauvignon Blanc with crowd pleasing appeal. Wnemaker Anthony Walkenhorst and his team have produced a Wine with typicity, consistent with 2015 vintage and easily enjoyable in this great 2016 vintage on its own or with snow crab, king crab, prawns or scampi or fish tacos. Full Bodied, creamy, with notes of lemongrass, green mango, papaya, savoury herb and a hint of candled lemon. Well balanced. Pairs well with lemon drizzled pan fried filet of sole or fish tacos. Tasted Dec 2016. Rated 89/100
