Monique Sosa rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

Just incredible! Here we have a scrumptious fruity and floral red blend from the esteemed Red Mountian and Columbia Valley appellation in Washington State. This wine shows developing flavours of black-berry-fruit, leather and spice aromas. The palate is silky smoothly with mouthwatering acidity and ripe integrated tannins. This full-bodied juicy plush red is still showing incredible potential for ageing (cellar through 2020-2023). Enjoy pairing with braised beef lasagna. Tasted Nov 2016 - @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Jane Staples rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

Aromatic, rich, complex, flavourful, well-balanced, silky-satiny texture and lingering elegant finish. You can't go wrong with Col Solare! The 2009 shows more tart fruit on the palate than the 2012 or 2013, but you are comparing personal preference here. Ready to drink now, or cellar for 10 years; the choice is yours. You will be happy either way!

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
