Cora Beaulieu rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Light grassy color. This wine is a subtle and typical G.V. with delightful unripe apricot, pepper and herbaceous notes. The palate is mid-weight and the acidity is certain with zippy, tart citrus, sweet peach, soft floral and peppery notes. There is a touch of lemon zest on the short-medium finish.
Jon Steeves rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Mouthwatering, light citrus dominant Gruner, refreshingly vibrant acidity. Balanced. Pink grapefruit, ripe white dragon fruit, Jasmine. Great pairing with Chinese beef and broccoli, Szechuan seafood dishes, Asian appetizers. Easily enjoyed as well on its own. Tasted Dec 2016 rated 88/100. Great value crowd pleaser.
Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

The unique label stands this bottle apart on the Gruner shelf. Nose has hints of white pepper and whiff of smoke or dust. Lots of soft lemon and lime, some nutty-toasty notes and a touch of spice, fresh acidity on the palate. Quite enjoyable on its own.
Gwen Barton rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Lots of lively acidity with this enjoyable Gruner Veltliner. Citrus notes - prominent lemon-lime. Some minerality on the finish. All wrapped in a very pretty label! Would go well with creamy herb sauce on salmon filet.
Cherie Cole rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Yellow grapefruit, lemon, lime and peach on the nose and palate. Crisp acidity and long, grapefruit-lime finish. Pair with poached white fish. Tasted November 27, 2016.
Sylvain Segard rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Apple and peach nose with a hint of white pepper. Dry medium-bodied with lemon-lime flavours with a mildly nutty ending and a lasting acidity. Score 86. (Reviewed Nov. 27, 2016).
Emilie Ryan rated this wine as 84/100 with the following review:

Presentation: Busy yet distinctive label.
Appearance: Pale lemon colour
Nose: medium intensity aromas of citrus (lemon), burned toast and yeast
Taste: Dry, medium bodied, medium acidity, grapefruit, yeast, burned toast, lemon rind
Finish: Medium to long finish with some citrus and burned toast
Overall impression: A food-friendly wine, which should be good with a variety of white meat and cream dishes
Value: 3/5
Mymi Thesingingsommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

The Dürnberg winery is located in the picturesque village of Falkenstein in Weinviertel, Austria and has been officially certified as the “Leading Wine Producer“of the region since 2012.
Zesty, fresh with pink grapefruit, white pepper and a little dustiness on the nose.
Earthy, intense and very yummy on the palate with a slight minerally finish.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Ripe pear, white pepper, white flowers, and a touch of earthiness in the aroma. Th taste is nutty with pear as the main fruit. Medium acidity.
Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Lots of citrus on the nose with a hint of the acidity to come. The palate is juicy with lots of ripe lemon and lime - lots of acidity - lingering tartness....
Luc Delorme rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

The aromas of citrus right from the start also hint at a significant acid content, and this one doesn't disappoint. The citrus persists through the palate, though some sweet tones come through ut are quickly quashed by the acidity.

Perhaps a bit too acidic to be a sipper by itself, this wine would do well with a a light cream pasta dish, or seafood with a lemon glaze.
Alex & Priya rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Priya: Nice, easy-drinking wine with a teensy bit of sparkle. Very fresh and crisp and tart, for those who like that sort of wine! 88pts

Alex: A kind of sourdough element to the nose which shows extensive lees contact with a nice pepper and sage spice. There's a layered palate, well-rounded texture and plenty of zing. The flavour is that of lemon confit, great! 90pts
