CarrieMac @sudburyvino rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

A full bodied "purple" wine filled with plush aromas and succulent flavors of black fruit, vanilla and spice. Mouth filling, balanced tannins and a smoky finish. Absolutely perfect with garlic-tamarind beef. This would be awesome with pulled pork or sticky beefy ribs as well. Cannot wait to try the next vintage.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Opaque purple with aromas of black plum, salt and minerality, India ink, and dried herbs. The taste is rich and supple, centred around plum with a touch of dark chocolate. Medium-low fine tannins with a nice structure and medium acidity.
Nick Onischuk rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

The Yalumba Patchwork Shiraz 2013 is medium to full bodied. Aromas and flavours of dark berry fruit, plum, oak and spice. Tasted October 2016 (88/100)
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Notes of blackberry, plum and chocolate with some oak and spice flavors appearing on the palate.
Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Surprisingly not too many aromas brimming out of the glass - subtle earthiness, cherry, blackberry, plum - the palate yields a full bodied wine with lots of jam, oak and hearty acidity.
Jane Staples rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Mild aromatics with dark berries and spice, followed by a bolder palate that reveals cassis , raspberries, allspice, pepper, smoke and oak. Full-bodied with great acidity and a smokey finish.
Tasted Oct. 2016

Natalie's Review

Yalumba Patchwork Shiraz 2013, Barossa Valley, South Australia, Australia: Shiraz from the Barossa Valley shines, and here is a prime example. With 160 years of Barossa heritage, Yalumba shows exactly what Barossa terroir is capable of. The winery creates this wine from a "patchwork quilt" of soils, aspects, microclimates and cultures, thus the name. The winery has selected specific parts of its cool-climate vineyard in the Eden Valley for this "patchwork" blend of Shiraz. It marries these with some warm plots in the Barossa Valley to create a remarkable wine. A rich, full-bodied, supple Australian red wine with attractive aromas of black plum, blackberries and black raspberries. Incredible concentration and depth with a long finish. Yalumba is synonymous with Australia wine, particularly Shiraz. Seductive notes of cedar smoke on the finish. Great for dinner parties. Excellent price for the taste and quality.
