Philippe Perreault rated this wine as 83/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby color.

Aromas of plum, spice, cherry and black pepper.

This wine is full-bodied, rigid and very long.

Take it over a rare red meat.

Serve it at 15-17 degrees and put it in carafe before the service just to soften the tannin.

Can be aged several years (10-15)

Another smoky-floral Greek wine. Smoked meat, white pepper, floral, licorice, cedar and dark fruit aromas. Very dry, acidic and grippy tannins. Dark dried fruit and bittersweet chocolate on the palate. Try with sausage or lamb stew.
Nicole Lewis rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This Greek wine is 50-50 blend of Syrah and Xinomavro, it is a deep garnet. There is a wild black berry-smoky note with much alcohol, medium acidity and suede tannins. It is an interesting and complex quaff with a long ripe finish that would pair well with a charcuterie plate.

Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Black plum, licorice, leather, sherry, and white pepper. Quite complex. Mouth-watering plum and white pepper on the palate with medium-high grippy tannins, A fantastic wine for bot read meat and hard cheeses.
Carola Price rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Dark garnet and bright. A nose of black licorice, blackberry and smoke/ spice.
The finish is fantastic and very balanced. The fruit is not overpowering and is easy drinking. I would prefer it chilled in order for the berry flavours to develop.
Pair with just about anything but light fish.

Gwen Barton rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Herbaceous, peppery nose and palate. Black cherry and blackberry. Medium tannins and lovely long finish. Good value wine- look forward to trying with a charcuterie tray.
Jacky Blisson rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Big, powerful Xinomavro, Syrah blend with lots of cooked dark berry and cassis notes, underscored by violet, earthy and cedar notes. Dense on the palate, with fresh acidity and ripe tannins, yet fairly warm alcohol on the finish that throws off the harmony.
Lori Kilmartin WSET3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This is a blend of 50% Syrah and 50% Xinomavro. Aromas of red cranberry, quince and blackberry. Peppery with grippy tannins that would be even more prevalent if not for the syrah mix. Medium-high acidity and a long spicy fruit finish. Decant 2-3 hours before drinking and pair with rustic meal of rabbit stew or medium rare steak done over a wood fire. Tasted July 24, 2016
