The Chateau St.Jean Winery and Vineyard Chardonnay 2014 features nice red apple, lemon, buttery bread. Excellent Chardonnay! Tasted October 2016 (90/100)
Monique Sosa rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Here we have a rich and aromatic Chardonnay by Chateau St-Jean. Standout aromas and flavours include nutmeg, baked apples, jammy apricot, and smoky/flinty minerality. Enjoy this full bodied wine with roasted chicken, duck or turkey! Tasted Oct 2016. @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Aromas of apple and stonefruit with peach and lemon flavors coming out on the palate. Pair with roasted chicken or fettuccini alfredo.
Emilie Ryan rated this wine as 80/100 with the following review:

A good California Chardonnay…
Presentation: Old-word style, basic, easy to read
Appearance: Clear, pale, lemon colour
Nose: Clean, medium nose with notes of toastiness, lemons, lychee, butter,
Taste: Dry, medium body, high acidity, low tannins, notes of popcorn, lemon zest, minerals
Finish: Long finish, with enduring popcorn notes
Overall impression: A good Californian Chardonnay, still a little strong on the toast/popcorn, but should pair well with vegetable and chicken dishes.
Value: 3/5
Colin McKone rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Lots of butter, green apple, citrus and caramel aromas with the apple and butter following through on the palate. It is medium bodied with a medium buttery finish. A great value for a Sonoma Chard. Will pair nicely with poultry, lighter or creamy cheeses or a cream based pasta.
Melanie Aubert rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

On the nose, this is your typical oaked Cali chardonnay: buttery caramel, tropical fruit and toast. Seems fairly sweet when it first hits the palate, but then it is perfectly dry once it goes down. All the same aromas are on the palate, plus a hint of stone fruit. I would pair this with my mom's roast chicken recipe with roasted sweet potato.
Cherie Cole rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Layered aromas of red apple, lemon rind, fresh, cut grass, smokey oak and caramel. Full-bodied with flavours of baked apple, vanilla and caramel and a delicious buttery finish. Pair with creamy pasta or popcorn.
Nicole Lewis rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The Cali Chardonnay exhibits white peach, lemon and buttery hazelnut on the nose. The palate is rich and suave with peach, and nut butter notes. This is a sizeable wine with medium acidity and a long finish that would hold its own with a fettucine alfredo.

Chateau St. Jean Winery and Vineyard Chardonnay 2014, Sonoma County, California, United States: Lovely caramelized toffee on the nose of this generously rich and full-bodied Californian Chardonnay.
