rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A clear vibrant coho salmon colour, this rosé has floral, cherry, white pepper, and strawberry jam aromas. It is dry with balanced acidity and surprising body for a rosé. Distinct flavours of cranberry, cherries and watermelon rind. I would rate this in the top 3 of my rosé tastings this summer. Great value from South Africa! Pairs well with grilled salmon.
Greg Hughes rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Often seen in cameos of >5% in the occasional Bordeaux blends, Petit Verdot is becoming a more popular single varietal wine. The New World has an expanding repertoir of examples, but as a rose Rustenberg has released a rare pleasure. This rose is dry, robust and concentrated.
Dense bubblegum pink in colour, the aromas don't hide Petit Verdot's brooding dark fruit character. Black cherry, bramble, mint and hothouse flower.
The flavours have similarly dark flavours of black cherry and blackberry, but also dried cranberry and capsicum.
Really delicious. A great wine for salmon or trout, but curious enough to entertain on its own. Like a lot of roses, it is relatively inexpensive to sell during their season. Take that opportunism as a sign to try something different.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
