Jon Steeves rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A beautiful, elegant, earthy gem. Ruby with a garnet hue. This réserva from 2010 vintage has been aged 30 months in French barriques and 6 months in bottle prior to release. Complexity, structure with a firm backbone of high yet silky tannins. Red berry, leather, cola cherry, sun soaked savoury herb. Lovely on the nose and palate. Long finish of Tania o leaf, berry, cherry and saddle bag. A delightful experience with or without food yet this wine pairs exceptionally well with pot roast. Tasted 2010 vintage after decanting 2 hours in March 2017. 91 points.
Monique Sosa rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Aromas are saying stewed plum, anise, leather and gamey in my face while the palate puts forward fleshy red berry and zingy cola notes. Tannins are young and developing so, if drinking now, decant for an hour prior to serving. Enjoy with your favourite roasts and stews. Tasted March 2017 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Valérie Dufour rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Shiny red ruby robe. Blackberries, tobacco and coco on the very nice, very seductive nose. Retro of pepper. Nice acidity with tannins that are pretty tense. To tame the beast, I would carafe the wine for an hour before serving. Very hight quality wine that could age 5-7 years easily to let the wine digest the wood. Would be great with rosemary lamb chops.
