Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Great option for a BBQ wine! This is an easy drinking blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, and Merlot. Lots of ripe, almost jammy berries, and ripe plum, along with a bit of peppery spice. Medium bodied and medium tannin. Perfect for burgers!
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

An easy drinking red blend. Aromas of red fruit gives way to a palate of fleshy red plums, blackberries, vanilla and a touch of spice. A good wine for BBQ or to pair with a burger.
David Skinner rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby and a pinkish rim. Blending the best of Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Merlot. Earth-driven nose with black currants and violets. Plum, cherry and hints of anise dance on the tongue. A medium-full bodied wine with good acid-tannin ratios. The finish is medium-long and well balanced between fruit and silky tannins.

Try this with smoked brisket or pulled pork tacos.
Heather Wall rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Chief Winemaker Ian Hongell declared this a "BBQ red' and I have to agree. This medium(+) bodied red is a blend of three varietals - Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Merlot. Merlot brings this wine a touch of elegance that Cabernet and Shiraz might not have brought to the production and goes down smooth. Some heat at the back of the palate on the finish but it paired very nicely with our spicy meatballs. Gobs of red and black fruit, tar, anise, cedar, violets, and eucalyptus( in a good way.) Bring on the Canadian BBQ season.
Good value at $18.
Tasted: May 2016
Jon Steeves rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Ruby red and 14.5% ABV. This is a medium plus bodied, highly tannic Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Merlot blend from several parcels of Barossa Valley vineyards. Shows blackberry, blackcurrant, ripe red field berry, ripe plums. A great companion with BBQ spicy hot Italian sausages, BBQ burgers or a juicy steak. @jonsteeves rated 88/100 - great value - tasted May 2016
Emilie Ryan rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

A nice BBQ red, and maybe with the food on the grill…
Presentation: Very interesting and distinctive label.
Appearance: Medium-dark ruby
Nose: Tobacco/cigar, charcoal, raspberries, blackcurrant
Taste: Spicy, chocolate, sour berries. Tastes like drinking BBQ sauce!
Finish: Spicy
Overall impression: It met pound for pound the Bengali meatball I paired it with. Again, good value and should definitely be on someone’s list for the BBQ season.
Value: 4/5
Monique Sosa rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This is your classic easy drinking, crowd pleasing red that is apparently nice to enjoy while BBQ-ing and not necessarily needing to be paired with your grilled goodies (says Chief Winemaker Ian Hongell). I don't disagree! Aromas and flavours are pronounced with notes of stewed red fruit, dark-chocolate-mocha and minty eucalyptus. I perceive this to be light bodied due to its easy drinking character but be careful, it's actually 14.5% alcohol. This wine is dry with tame tannins and a balanced acidity. I suggest pairing it with a juicy burger. Tasted May 2016.
