Trevor Sabourin rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

This is nicely balanced, uncomplicated, and very refreshing sauvignon blanc. The herbaceousness is not over-the-top, which lets the fruit shine. Aromas are of guava, pineapple, lime zest, green apple, tarragon, white pepper, and a light, flinty mineral note. On the medium-light palate, the fruit presents itself in the opposite order it does on the nose, with lemon/lime citrus being more prominent. There is a nice bite of white pepper spice too. The acidity is medium-high. On the medium finish, the citrus and mineral lingers, with just a touch of green bell pepper and guava. Will pair nicely with anything from herbed chicken to light fishes to salads.
Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A full-on NZ Sauvignon Blanc with typical Marlborough grassy/herbal/gooseberry/green pepper/green bean coming at you on all fronts from the glass. Zingy acidity with a little nutty note underpinning the brew - lots of fun! Pair with fresh Thai shrimp or veggie spring rolls with cilantro and asparagus.
Deborah Podurgiel WSET IV Candidate rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This is lovely, clean, crisp Sauvignon Blanc. Brilliant and pale-lemon green in colour with a zingy acidity to match, but not so much so that your taste buds want to curl up and seek comfort elsewhere. In fact, you'll want to drink more of this one. On the nose it is citrus, fresh cut hay, grass and light gooseberry. On the palate the wine is refreshing, smooth, even a bit oily with gooseberry and citrus flavours and finishes long with light, tropical fruit notes. Ara Pathway is well-structured with balanced acidity to fruit. Easy to drink on its own, but would be a perfect match to a goat cheese, pear and spring greens salad or a smoked salmon, arugula and goat cheese quiche.
