Jon Steeves rated this wine as
88/100 with the following review:
A beautiful crisp brilliant clean Austrian gem. This Gruner shines with mouthwatering acidity, a hint of flinty minerality, Asian pear, lime zest, and starfruit. Medium finish with persistence of green melon. Pair with light salads, sushi, very sparsely seasoned tofu dishes or prosciutto and green melon. Rated 88/100 - tasted 2014 vintage in Dec 2016.
Pamela Chiles rated this wine as
88/100 with the following review:
Soft peach/stone fruit, citrus and a little honeysuckle on the nose, soft acidity, slightly creamy mouthfeel yet dry and fresh. This light-bodied Gruner will be nice with lightly-seasoned white fish dishes.
Emilie Ryan rated this wine as
84/100 with the following review:
Presentation: Distinctive, clean, easy to read.
Appearance: Pale lemon colour
Nose: Pronounced intensity aromas of burned toast, lemon, toasted almond, burned butter
Taste: Dry, full bodied, medium acidity, lemons, yeast, popcorn, grass
Finish: Medium finish with some grassiness
Overall impression: An interesting wine with pronounced toastiness. Could drink it by itself, with white meat, vegetable dishes, or with cream-based foods
Value: 3.5/5
Luc Delorme rated this wine as
87/100 with the following review:
In the typical Gruner Veltliner fashion, this wine has some citruus and vegetal notes on the nose. The citrus persists on the palate with some mineral notes; the finish is short more towards the sweet fruit end.
Lots of acidity to pair with seafood to light cream sauces. Good example of a typical Austrian grape varietal.

Buttery apple on the nose. Soft mouthfeel with lasting, bright citrusy acidity calling for a shrimp salad with citrus marinade, grilled chicken with herbs, or a béchamel-based dish to balance out the strong acidity. Score 87. (Tasted Nov. 27, 2016)
Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as
87/100 with the following review:
A lovely Gruner with lots of lemon and lime aromas, the palate is equally plump with lots of citrus - especially ripe grapefruit - traces of green apple and stewed apricots.
Sharon Lécuyer rated this wine as
86/100 with the following review:
Crisp citrus on the nose with tastes of green apple and lime. Lots of acidity and a dry finish. I would pair with a shrimp salad that has vinaigrette that can stand up to the acidity in this wine.
Lynn van der Linde rated this wine as
88/100 with the following review:
Aromas of ed apple and peach carry through in the mouth. A warm lingering finish, perfect with hard cheeses or spicy dishes.
Lori Kilmartin WSET3 rated this wine as

A crisp, mouth watering Gruner with plenty of citrus on the nose and palate; lime, lemon and grapefruit. Some green apple and plenty of minerality. I had Chinese food for dinner last night and sure wish I had a bottle in the house then! Tasted November 27, 2016
