Masi Campofiorin 2012, Verona, Italy: Seductive black cherry and smoke aromas on the nose and palate of this full-bodied, balance Italian red wine. Mouth-watering acidity for tangy tomato sauce dishes. Masi has made this wine since 1964 from local Veronese grapes such as Corvina that are dried before fermentation for the appassimento method to add add depth and flavour. Masi knows how to make fabulous wines at every price point. Drink: 2014-2020. 155051 13% XD 750 mL $25.00 Score: 88/100. April 16, 2016 Best Value Red Wine.
