Tania Thomas rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

From the heart of Rioja comes this fantastic value red. A crowd-pleasing blend of mainly Tempranillo with a small addition of Grenache and Mazuela. Fruit-forward, full bodied and smooth. Aromas and flavours of ripe black cherries and plums. Solid backbone of firm tannins starting to soften. Closes in a long, lingering, smoky finish. Fantastic as a pairing with duck confit, pork patés or a plate of charcuterie. Drink now through 2022. Tasted August 2017. Tania Thomas – www.runawaygrape.com
Cherie Cole rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Impressive, classic Crianza style. 90% Tempranillo, 5% Grenache and 5 % Graciano. Well balanced body and acidity; food friendly with dark red fruit and a smokey finish. Tasted May, 2017.

A Crianza of very good value offering above the mean depth of flavour and high quality oak. The blackberry and cassis fruit on the palate is rich, authentic and fresh. The fruit is laced with violets and pepper giving this tempranillo-garnacha blend a real sensuality. Stylish and confident. Tannins have been tamed through maturation resulting in a ready to drink style. Very good length. Tasted April 2017.
Wineboy rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

While I personally may have fallen prey to the more modern style of Spanish reds, this one is more traditional and therefore you could add a couple of points if your tastes are more inclined to older styles. Incredible smoothness, a seductive wine that keeps offering different aromas every time you revisit the glass. Less power, and beautiful subtlety to the oak. The oak takes a more dried natural wood flavour.
