A solid offering, bold and richly textured with youthful, chalky tannins and generous mass of fruit. The peppery character on both the nose, palate and finish nicely defines the fruit and adds dimension. Merlot dominant with the addition of both cabernets sourced from the Okanagan's first official sub-appellation, the Golden Mile Bench. Notes of violets, blackberry, ripe plum, currant and black cherry are abundantly present on the palate. Oak treatment has softened the tannins ever so slightly but not added any obvious flavour. Excellent length. Very good value. Best 2019-2024. Tasted April 2016.
Courtney Flood rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This brooding wine from BC is dark in a good way... smoky and concentrated berry aromas, cedar bark, dried oregano, anise and black pepper. Pair with slow - smoked meats.
Olivier de Maisonneuve rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

The nose reminded me of an hungarian chicken paprika dish, shared with good friends around a big table. The palate is silky and fruit forward. Not overly long, but easy to savour. Ripe tannins, good acidity make for food like pasta with ragu sauce.
Douglas McMillan reviewed this wine as follows:

Smoky black cherry, vanilla, a little earthiness, and dried herbs. The taste is inky dark fruit, a touch of tannin, and good acidity.
Wineboy rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A beautiful blend but one that needs more time. Solid tannins currently hide some great depth of ripeness and complexity. 2019-2025
Donna Hargrove rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Hailing from the Okanagan Valley, the deep ruby red greets the nose with hints of vanilla and currants. Pepper and a slight green apple on the palate, follows through to the finish with a lingering dry finish. This would great paired with a tomato based dish.

Sylvain Segard rated this wine as 81/100 with the following review:

Medium ruby. Black currant, flowery, vanilla, mint, cedar aromas. Medium-plus tannins. Sour, green stem, cedar box, pepper taste. Dry long gripy finish.
