Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

This wine very well crafted, featuring a solid linzer and hazelnut, and fresh leather. After a few minutes in the glass, secondary notes of cedar, scrub and scorched earth become apparent. The acidity brightly shines through this wine, and demands food. 93 Points. (ottawawinejournal.com)
Courtney Flood rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Hedonistic aromas of blackberry, blueberry, fig, milk chocolate, and a splash of rosewater. Chalky tannins and cracked black pepper.

Pair with rich mushroom ragout
Alex & Priya rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Alex: Ultra-fruity cassis, mint, tree bark and grape hubba-bubba gum nose. Balanced, dry fruit and leafy Cabernet with just hints of cocoa and vanilla on the palate. Good concentration, medium-firm tannin, not much acidity but enough for the style. Simple but pure, and a fine reflection of the regional style and price. Solid. 89pts
Jacky Blisson rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Dark, inky ruby. Fragrant aromas of ripe black currant, tobacco, violet and spice. Lively and fresh on the palate, with a full body, concentrated dark fruits, and subtle cedar oak on the finish. Very smooth, with polished tannins.
Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Dark cherry, blueberry, soft leather on the nose. Tobacco, blueberry, spice, white pepper and oak on the palate. Well paired with a wild boar stew.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Aromas of blueberry, plum, cocoa and tobacco leaves. The taste is smooth plum with a bright acidity and a little bit of rounded tannin. Great wine for southern style spicy beef dishes.
