Neil Phillips rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Youthful aromas of red fruits, some slightly stewed raspberry jam, hint of white pepper.

Flavours of strawberry jam with nutmeg, cloves, sage.

A bouncy, fun, fruit-forward red with nice acid from the Veneto - as it should be.

Tasted October 2016.

Jane Staples rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Subtle and dry Valpolicella from Masi's Bonacosta vineyard, located NW of Verona. Ripe dark berries, dried herbs and touches of tobacco distinguish this Valpolicella from its contemporaries. An elegant expression of this Classico style.
Tasted June 2016

Food friendly, light-med body with notes of tart cherry, dried tobacco and herbs. Pair with vegetarian pizza. Tasted April 3, 2016.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Lots of dried herbs and fruit in the aroma as well as a little tart cherry and tobacco. The taste is a restrained tart cherry with some fine tannins and medium high acidity. As with most Valpolicellos, this pairs well with a great variety of Italian food.
Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Aromas include mainly tobacco, dried fruit (some raisin), and a bit of an oily, gamy note. Lots of tart cherry with some tobacco and smoke on the palate. Medium body and tannin, medium + acid, finish is a bit short. Try with pasta with a meat sauce or charcuterie.
Jacky Blisson rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Medium, transluscent ruby. Fresh, stemmy dark fruits, dried floral notes and subtle gamey notes. Juicy, lifted acidity, medium body and smooth tannins. Lots of tart, dark cherry and tobacco notes on the palate. Fairly short, but very pleasant. Solid value.
Bill Wright Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Light in body and colour. Good acid and spiceSour red fruit on the medium finish.
Tasted April 3/16
