Heather Wall rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Points for value at $18 for an Aussie red wine. This is a medium(+) bodied juicy red wine crafted with four varietals that grow heartily in the hot Barossa Valley. Red plum, candy floss, coffee, fresh picked berries, cigar box, black pepper, black licorice over firm tannins and medium acidity. Eucalyptus oil on the long finish. This wine is packing a little heat and that was exaggerated by our spicy assorted tacos. I would suggest going a little easier on the warm spicy dishes and perhaps lean toward salted cuts of grilled meats or beef stew.
Tasted: May 2016
Gwen Barton rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

As the bottle indicates, a unique blend of four varietals. Aromas of sour cherry, blackberry, smoke and eucalyptus (how very Australian)! Some candied sweetness and dark chocolate notes with a warm, spicy finish. As summer approaches, thinking of beef burgers on the bbq and this wine. Yum.
Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Sweet/candied cherry, plum, raspberry pop from the glass; then serious spice, dark berries and bittersweet chocolate roll out, along with the requisite alochol. Good for the price, but seeking food of the beef sort.
Jacky Blisson rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Medium ruby, translucent. Fresh and candied black fruits, floral notes and savoury, leathery undertones feature on the nose. Big and bold on the palate, with sweet, stewed black fruits and big, grippy tannins. A big wine that needs a hearty meal to pair with.
Devon rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Excellent buy for under $20. Full body dynamic wine with a long pleasant finish. Blackberry notes, with black pepper, vanilla, cigar box. Tart acid with some grippy tannins. Can't get much better at this price. Pair with Prosciutto and salty cheese board.
Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Aromas of ripe berries (cherry, blueberry) some spice (black pepper, and baking) and a hint of smoke. Full bodied medium tannin, lots of fruit on the palate, a bit of an alcohol hit on the back of the throat. Overall quite nice and would be great with steak.
Wineboy rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A whole lot of wine for the price. Fruit driven with a touch of warmth from the 14.5% alc. Berries and quite smooth tannins. Lingering flavours.
Emilie Ryan rated this wine as 80/100 with the following review:

An interesting blend…
Presentation: Grey monotone label, uninspiring and a little depressing
Appearance: Medium-dark ruby red
Nose: Cigar box, mocha, nutty
Taste: Tannic, dirt, sharp, leather, mocha
Finish: Falls quickly except for the tannins and dirt
Overall impression: Terroir, terroir, terroir with a hint of sweetness
Value: 3.5/5
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Aromas of black cherry, plum, blueberry, and baking spices. The taste is tart cherry and dark chocolate. Good acidity, silky mouth-feel, and a long, smooth cherry finish.
