From Rioja, Spain a 95% Tempranillo blended with 5% Graciano. Nose gives cherry and vanilla fragrances, then the palate opens into rich layers of ripe cherries, vanilla, leather and tobacco. Extra dry and smooth with an elegant finish. Enjoy w grilled lamb chops.
Tasted July 2016
Monique Sosa rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Amazing quality at an awesome price! This Tempranillo boasts alluring complex and ever-changing notes of violets, stewed berries, earthy forest floor, baking spice (allspice and anise), and cedar galore! The palate is velvety smooth with moderate tannins, a well-balanced acidity, complexity, typicity, and overall quality! Enjoy with braised beef. Tasted July 2016. @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Courtney Flood rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

I love love loved this wine! Very aromatic; dried fig, prune, strong baking spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice), molasses, and sandalwood. Full bodied, ripe, and a long and strong caramel finish. Great character. Favourite of the day (out of... 60 wines?)

Korean spiced short rib. I don't eat meat often... but if I do, that's what I would want to drink :)
Cherie Cole rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Dark plum, cherry, clove, leather on the nose with flavours of plum, cherry and black pepper. Well-structured with a tart cherry finish. Tasted April 3, 2016.
rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Ripe red fruit, plum, anise and violet aromas. The flavours of cherries and spice are so smooth and very dry on the palate. A gorgeous tempranillo.
Devon rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Red Cherry with spice, vanilla and some earthy tones. Tannins are still very powerful. You can continue to age this wine or match it with some red meats to meet the tannins.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Hearty plum, spice, vanilla, and blueberry aromas with flavours of plum, cherry, and red licorice. Some soft round tannins and a smooth tannic cherry finish.
Bill Wright Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Red cherry and spice. Full tannins, acids, spice and fruit. Just full of flavour.
Jacky Blisson rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Medium garnet colour. Earthy, cedar notes overlaid by fresh red cherry and spice. Fresh acidity, full bodied, with an interesting, slightly grainy texture. Big, grippy tannins. Needs time or decanting to unwind. Good value for the price.
