Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This wine is great now but will be better insanely good in a few years time. It boasts aromas and flavours of blackberry and currant, crushed black plum, herb, warm spice and crushed rock. Hints of dried flower emerge after a few minutes in the glass. Drink 2018-2025. 92 Points. (www.ottawawinejournal.com)
Lori Kilmartin WSET3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Tasted in April 2016 with other wines from Argentina - this wine was my favourite. Opaque in colour. Full body with lots of dark fruit and spice on the nose. Medium tannins with blackberry, plum and milk chocolate flavours. Pair with pot roast or smoked pork or any kind of grilled meat.
Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Lovely luscious fresh berry, dark chocolate and black currant infused with subtle vanilla and spice notes. Full-bodied with firm but fine tannins. Keep a few on hand for bbq season.
Cherie Cole rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Gorgeous deep purple in colour, right through to the rim. Dark plum, vanilla, blueberry, sweet earth and violet are found on the nose. Full and luscious, dark fruit, floral, oak and vanilla on the palate. Would pair nicely with medium-rare meat dishes. Tasted March 2016.

Big and full-bodied, juicy but not jammy. A floral scented malbec from the praised sub-appellation of Vista Flores in the Uco Valley of Mendoza. Spicy with fine but notable oak. Lovely dark plummy flavours, nutmeg and dark chocolate. Tannins are quite firm so be sure to decant. Smoky, spicy finish with heat that lingers. Good value. Tasted March 2016
Jane Staples rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Dark garnet with lovely Damson plum and cassis aromas. Juicy palate of ripe Damson plums, vanilla, cinnamon and oak. Mouth-watering acidity with long spicy plum finish.

Natalie's Review

Finca El Origen Gran Reserva Malbec 2013, Vista Flores, Uco Valley, Mendoza, Argentina: Savoury and juicy and fleshy wild blackberry notes. Smooth and ready to drink when you are. Some attractive smoke, vanillin and toasty goodness from oak aging. Finishes with anise and blackberry. Try it with meat lovers' pizza tonight.
