Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This wine exudes lovely notes of dark cherries, smoke, and overripe plums. The flavors are much the same with added layers of leather, jammy cherries, cedar and pepper. The tannins are silky and well rounded. Great acidity and lingering sour cherry finish.
Monique Sosa rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This wine shows inviting aromas of jammy plums, all spice, anise and violets. The palate shows delectable fruit notes of cherry and plum, along with layers of all spice, chocolate, toffee and mocha notes. The acidity, fruit concentration and sweetness are all well balanced while tannins are silky smooth. This full bodied wine pairs well with braised beef and oven roasts. I am inspired to pair this wine with a seared duck breast however. Tasted Jan 2016.
Jon Steeves rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This ruby red IGT beauty is declared at a whopping 15.5% ABV. Well-structured, bursting with aromatics and densely concentrated flavours of ripe red fruit, leather, ripe blackberry, violet petal and a hint of mint. Medium plus tannins, medium acidity, well-balanced and well-integrated. Long finish with persistence of blackberry and leather. Fantastic value at an accessible price point. Enjoy this Italian beauty with BBQ or braised beef, or on it's own. #Buy-by-the-case. Tasted Jan 2016.
Cherie Cole rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Very dark ruby in color, this Italian red is brimming with stewed dark cherry and red berry aromas, leading into secondary aromas of oak and smoke. Tannins are silky and are balanced beautifully with a mouth-watering acidity. The flavors are rich, dark cherry, raspberry with a long, smoky finish. This wine commands to be paired with braised red meat dishes. Tasted January 31, 2016.
Matt Steeves rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This is a rich and powerful red from Veneto, Italy, showing fragrant dark cherry, blackcurrant, baking spice, and cedar. At 15.5% abv, this big bold beauty pairs with bold and rich flavoured dishes. Port reduction beef tenderloin would be heavenly. Enjoy 2016-2022. Tasted January 2016. 90+ points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Terry Jeans rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

A dark ruby and purple colour, with a very robust nose of dark fruit of cherries, raspberry, red licorice. There are also layers of spice and smoke. The flavours are similar to what was on the nose, with nicely integrated tannins, acidity that make this a very balanced medium-bodied red. It is an unconventional Italian red, but it would still be incredible with a flat crusted, wood-fire oven pizza.
Emilie Ryan rated this wine as 70/100 with the following review:

Strong leather and alcohol…
Presentation: Simple.
Appearance: Medium-dark ruby
Nose: Leather, asparagus, pepper
Taste: Leather, sour cherry medicine.
Finish: Long, leather, alcohol.
Overall impression: Too much alcohol for my taste and very strong on the leather. This wine needs very hearty dishes like steak.
Value: 1 out of 5
Valérie Dufour rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Red liquorice, black berries and spices (lots) with smokey notes. This is a really powerful wine. You feel the alcohol. A little too in your face for my tastebuds. I would drink that with an osso bucco.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Almost opaque ruby with a touch of garnet. Somewhat subtle dark aromas of smoke, dried black cherries, cherries jubilee, and cedar. Lots of rounded tannins, and jammy cherry flavours. This would pair very nicely with tender roast beef.
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Ripe cherry on the palate with red fruit (cherry, strawberry) and some spice dominating the palate. Good acidity and well structured tannins.
Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Beautiful aromas of strawberries and cherry.Palate carries those bright fruit flavours forward. Rich with bright acid to balance. Lingering finish. Try with hard cheese and charcuterie.
Bill Wright Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Jane Staples rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

From Italy's beautiful Veneto region, a fragrant Verona Red with lots of ripe cherry and strawberry on the very luscious palate. Mouth-watering acidity and long elegant finish. A great wine to pair with antipasto and savoury finger foods.
Lynn van der Linde rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A lovely crimson hue in the glass, aromas of plums, figs, and a hint of smoke, with a wonderful carry through of the fig in the mouth. With balanced acidity and tannins, this super food friendly wine is made using 65% Corvina and 35% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Drink now through 2021.
Tasted January 2016.
