Lots of ripe cherry, juicy plum and fragrant vanilla on the nose, with more sour cherry and an abundance of fruit on the palate, hints of cedar - well balanced.

The Southbrook Vineyards Triomphe Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 features aromas and flavours of sour cherry, raspberry and vanilla. Tasted January 31, 2016 (90/100)
Terry Jeans rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A nose of raspberry, cherry, steeped tea and slight vanilla. It tastes of red fruit, cedar, and vanilla, with a medium finish and acidity. Medium bodied with a medium finish that would work well with beef kabobs.
Bill Wright Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Plum for both the aroma and the palette. Tart red fruit on the finish. Surprisingly supple for a 2014.Tasted Jan 31/16
Jennifer Havers rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

An interesting nose of plum, cedar, vanilla, with a note of fresh herbs. More fruit forward on the palate with a smooth finish. A great wine to serve with pork tenderloin.
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Aromas and flavors of blueberry, plum, vanilla and dill. Nice fruit complexity and well balanced with soft tannins. Pair with beef or tomato pasta.
David Skinner rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Light Ruby with a narrow pink rim. Clean. Bouquet is filled with cassis and blueberry. Hints of vanilla and floral notes on the nose. Medium body and high acidity with approachable light tannins. Fruit forward with a nice touch of oak. A subtle blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (87%), Merlot (11%) and Cabernet Franc (2%). Medium finish that showcases the red fruits within.

A good match for pork tenderloin with red currant sauce.

Natalie's Review

Southbrook Vineyards Triomphe Cabernet Sauvignon 2014, Niagara-On-The-Lake, Ontario VQA, Canada: Savoury, juicy and ultra-delicious, this Cabernet is extremely aromatic and enticing with notes of fleshy ripe blackberry and black plum. Mouth-watering and lip-smacking good. Smooth and supple on the palate with a long finish. The bonus? This is an organic wine. Pair with free range beef.
