Loved this wine! The deep inky colour is a foreshadowing of aromas and flavours to follow.
Black cherry, strawberry,plum, vanilla, sweet baking spices, chocolate and a lift of graphite. Full-bodied, rich, smooth, luscious - lingering chocolate covered strawberry finish. Good acid to fruit ratio. Excellent Valentine gift. Hefty price tag but worth the splurge. Enjoy over the next 5 years. Serve with finer cuts of red meat. How about a Valentine Prime Rib dinner?

Fragrant blackberry jam / ripe cassis nose followed by a delicious bright palate giving ripe blackcurrant, strawberry, baking spice, vanilla and subtle oak. Silky smooth harmonious mouthfeel with a long berry finish- a prize!
