Monique Sosa rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This robust Douro red wine pours with a deep ruby appearance and thick slow moving, glass staining (and no doubt, teeth staining) curtains. This table wine is blended from the same glorious grape varietals used to produce world reknown port; including Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca, Portugal's finest grapes. Clean pronounced and complex aromas include black plum, black cherry, licorice, vanilla extract, sweet smoke, wet stone minerality and hints of tobacco leaf. The palate reflects the nose with donominant notes of black cerry, cedar, tobacco, anise, and dark chocolate. This wine is full bodied with balance acidity, young tannins and a long finish. This wine is enjoyable now after a long decant but it also has potential to age up to 2023. Pair with a prime rib roast. Tasted Feb 2016.
Jon Steeves rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Ruby red and declared 14% ABV produced with Tinta Barroca, Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, and Tinta Roriz (Tempranillo) from Duoro DOC. Well balanced and aromatic with juicy wild red berries, earthy leather and wet stone, baking spice and graphite on the palate as well. This is a dry wine with medium plus juicy acidity, young drying medium tannins and medium acidity. This is a great wine offering exceptional value for those who appreciate old world terroir, sophistication and quality from mature steeply terraced vineyards. This is a sure crowd pleaser and a buy by the case option for collectors or for special occasions. Pairs well with roasted or braised meats, antipasti, tapas or on its own. Tasted Jan 2016 after decanted 2h.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
