Heather Wall rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This wine offers excellent value with just 800 cases produced and limited supply. This is a Southern Rhone red blend of 50% Grenache, 20% Syrah , 20% Mourvedre , 5% Carignan and 5% Cinsault. Full-bodied but elegant to be sure! Exuberant aromas and flavours of bright red berries, ripe plum, black cherry, anise, fresh flowers, smoke and leather. Good acid to fruit ratio and dry. Try pairing with rosemary encrusted roasted red meat, good old-fashioned hamburger, braised lamb or favourite cheeses.

Matt Steeves rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

A decadent blend of 50% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 20% Mourvèdre, 5% Carignan and 5% Cinsault from Michel Gassier's southern Rhone vineyards, in fact the most southern vineyards in the Rhone Valley. This succulent wine shows plum, stewed dark fruit, baking spice, dark cherry, and smoke on the nose. Full bodied, this rich French blend is full of flavour, including sweet dark berries and dried fruit and demonstrates exceptional value! Highly recommended. With only 800 cases produced, this is a wine I'd recommend buying by the case if you're able to get your hands on it. Enjoy with rich stews, braised beef dishes such as peppercorn-beef roast with gorgonzola sauce, or your favourite BBQ fare. Tasted January 2016. 92 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca

Natalie's Review

Nostre Pais 2012, Costières De Nîmes, Midi A.C., France: A robust and delicious red with aromas of black licorice (it's dry), blackberries, black cherry and smoke. Lovely length and weight. Polished, smooth tannins make it easy to drink now though it'll also keep well in the cellar. This wine was mature for six months in French barrels, with most of it resting on its lees. Terrific price. Gassier is the iconic flagship of the Nimes region, and this wine shows why. Drink: 2013-2019. 214378 15% D 750 mL  $25.95 Score: 93/100. January 11, 2016 Top Rated Red Wine.
