Melanie Lloyd rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

An earthy Pinot Noir with aromas of tart cherry, plum, strawberry jam and sweet spice. Medium bodied with silky tannins and mouth-watering acidity. Flavours of Montmorency cherry, tart plum and a touch of cinnamon. The flavours linger.

Tasted at the Taste Ontario event in April 2019.

Wine-Food Pairing: This would pair wonderfully with roasted duck.
Malcolm Lamont rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Pale garnet hue. Funky, and cheese on the nose which are then lifted and give way to beautiful strawberry, caramel, and spice on the nose. Beautifully textured on the palate. This is one for the head and the heart.
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Fun and exciting from Twenty Mile Bench’s own Flatrock Cellars. Garnering Decanter Silver Medal and NWAC awards, it’s clear to see why; this newly released, 2014 vintage Gravity Pinot Noir is also dressed in a chic, sexy new label! Pale ruby coloured with glistening garnet. The bouquet is charismatic showing red cherries, bright spices and earthy, rusty components. Flavours are juicy and lush with clean raspberries, nutmeg, cherry skins and wet leafy underbrush and coniferous hardiness. High acidity, M- body and finish with a touch of a soft leather belt and it’s rusty buckle, with metallic salt at the end. Delicious and defined. Pair this with venison carpaccio and truffle cheese. 92 points - tasted April 2018

Natalie's Review

Flat Rock Gravity Pinot Noir 2014, Twenty Mile Bench, Niagara Peninsula, Ontario V.Q.A., Canada: I've long been a fan of Flat Rock's Pinot Noirs, especially the Gravity which I think is even stronger in 2014 over last year. Aromas of fleshy cherry yet it's balanced with racy acidity. The winery uses the gentlest methods to press the grapes and make the wine via a gravity flow system rather than pumping (thus the name gravity on the label). Then the wine was aged in French oak barrels for 18 months. Medium ruby hue with cherry accents, polished tannins, silky smooth texture and medium bodied weight. Gorgeous cherry-berry aromas and flavours on the mid-palate. Then it finishes with wisps of black raspberry and vanilla toast. This red wine is so vibrant and so fantastically great year after year. Try it with roast chicken or turkey. Drink: 2014-2020. 1560 13% XD 750 mL  $34.95 Score: 92/100. May 13, 2019 Top Rated Red Wine. Remarkable Roast Chicken Wine  Full Review
