Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

I was all ready to give this a bad review, but I just can't. The aromas are quite complex and attractive, with cherry, smoke, baking spices, bubble gum, and dried herbs, especially oregano? The taste is sweet, but it is a dessert wine. You get some of the dried herbs over the sweet cherry. Probably quite good with a nice fruitcake.
Emilie Ryan rated this wine as 84/100 with the following review:

Presentation: Cartoon, whimsical label
Appearance: Pale garnet colour
Nose: Medium nose, with notes of pink bubble gum and red cinnamon gum
Taste: Sweet, intense taste of bubble gum and cinnamon, as well as a tinge of nuttiness
Finish: Long finish with sweet cinnamon gum
Overall impression: A sweet dessert wine that needs a very sweet dessert.
Value: 3.5/5

Natalie's Review

Mrs. Beachley's Mulled Wine, California, United States: A lovely, festive dessert wine that's not cloyingly sweet. The cinnamon spice gives it a zesty kick and the wine flavours come through naturally: think red plum and dark cherry. Simmer this on the stove to make the whole house smell like Christmas, but don't forget to drink it. Pair with shortbread cookies and a blazing fire. Drink: 2015-2017. 295386 13% S 750 mL  $12.95 Score: 88/100. December 8, 2017 Best Value Dessert Wine. Divine Dessert Wine  Full Review

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
