It's unlikely you'll find another Kerner out of Canada. According to the winemaker, Roberto DiDomenico, Reif's plantings of Kerner are among their oldest and began as an experiment. They've also experimented with Zinfandel and Chenin Blanc.
Pale lemon, in colour. Lovely tropical aromatics. White peach, pineapple, agave, and guava continue onto the palate. Moderate sweetness, but plenty of acid to help counterbalance that.
Reif were among the first to make premium wine along the Iagara Lake sub appellation. This wine is a departure, to be sure, it it is a delicious contrast to their "Fool" nouveau Gamay Noir. This wine is usually available to coincide with the global Beaujolais Nouveau release - the third Thursday of November. Mark your calendar and treat yourself to something exotic even by new world standards.

This white wine has honey aromas followed bytastes of honey and peaches. This wine would be enjoyed with a cheese platter, especially a Brie or a smoked cheddar.
